The North Eastern most state in the New England area, Maine is a beautiful and picturesque state with rugged mountains, thick forests, and a scenic coastline. It is also famous for its world-renown seafood, especially lobster, clams, and oysters, and catches approximately 90% of the nations lobster supply! It is also home to the nation’s largest blueberry crop as it grows right at home in Maine’s climate. Although a medium sized state, its population ranks fairly low as there are only 1.3 million inhabitants of that state.
